Faux Bob

Did she or didn’t she? Keep tongues wagging with the perfectly coiffed “gotcha!” bob like Emma Stone’s. You don’t have to commit to a chop – yet still achieve the same, super-fun effect.

  • Start with a few swirls of mousse onto towel-dried hair before blow-drying with a large round brush. Try L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni Art Full Volume Extra Mousse, RM45.
  • Blow-dry shorter layers and sweep them to frame your best side.
  • After back-combing roots and ends, tie your hair into a low ponytail, rolling it up until it’s hidden in the nap of your neck.

Sideswept Bangs

If you’re not ready to lop off your locks, try a faux fringe for a fun change.

  • For a slimmer face, use the tip of a comb to create a deep side parting just like how Elizabeth Banks has done.
  • Run a big-barrel curling iron through strands to give locks a wavy texture; a texturing product like Kérastase Short Mania Star-to-be Sculpting Paste, RM55, will accentuate the layers.

Sexy Waves

We all want goddess hair like Heidi Klum, but not all of us have a styling team on standby to create celeb-worthy waves. So the easiest answer?

  • Try a tousled hair spray like Sachajuan Ocean Mist, RM85. Spritz evenly on damp hair and scrunch in an upward motion before blow-drying.
  • For added volume, lift sections of hair and spray from end to root. Refresh with a hairspray, if needed.
