Celebrate Spring at Nobu Kuala Lumpur with an exclusive Sake-Pairing Omakase

Apart from the usual modern style dining that you can enjoy in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Nobu KL is celebrating spring with a Sake-pairing Omakase which is exclusive for TWO days only. Famous for its new style Japanese-Peruvian cooking, executive chef Philip Leong has designed a special seven-course menu paired with six of the restaurant’s premium Sake selections, Nobu “The Sake” Jyunmai Daiginjo, Hokusetsu Yukino Hibiki, Nobu “The Premium Sake” Daiginjo TK 40, Nobu Special Reserve 28 and Umeshu, Plum Wine.

Start your meal with a Zensai platter that includes Kumamoto oyster with raspberry salsa, sesame tofu and uni with caviar, and kinmedai tiradito with dashi jelly, paired with Nobu ‘The Sake’ Jyunmai Daiginjo, an extremely fragrant sake. We especially like the sesame tofu and uni with caviar, a spoonful of the fresh caviar and soft texture of tofu is just great!

 

On top: Zenzai ; On bottom: Inaniwa With Shrimp & Squid with Nori Sauce.

Next, the Kobe beef with quinoa tabbouleh salsa paired with the Nobu Special Reserve 28. The full-bodied Sake with yuzu juice balances the taste profiles of the dish.

On top: Sashimi Salad with Spinach Dry Miso; On bottom: Kobe with Quinoa Tabbouleh Salsa

End your meal with the Yuzu Creme Brulee and Mochi, paired with a sweet and rich ‘Umeshu’ Plum Wine, with flavours likened to cherry blossoms to complement the tangy citrus flavours of the dessert.
