The Weekly’s Review: Minu Restaurant

Japanese contemporary dining restaurant with a twist

How can one say no to Japanese cuisine? Well, we certainly can’t! We recently headed to the chic Minu Restaurant at Greenhouse by Muir, Jalan Ampang to check out what was the fuss all about especially after seeing reviews popping up on our feed. First, we tried the seven-course meal that allowed us to sample some of the best that the restaurant has to offer.

Verdict? The portion was just right and the food just delicious!

The seven-course meal is priced at RM99 with a choice of any 7 items from Appetiser, Side Dish, Cold Dish, Soup, Salad, Junior Main Dish and Dessert with Cold Brew Sencha. However, you can order individual dishes too.

Lime Octopus, RM18

Tuna Tataki, RM18

Fresh tuna that is seared only on the outer layer and served with capsicum and mentaiko sauce. These four pieces is not enough for one person!

Dobin Mushi, RM18

We like this comfort soup that comes in a pot instead of a bowl. Try to dig all of the ingredients inside and serve it in a tea cup. Remember to squeeze the lime juice that helps to enhance the flavour of the soup.

Scallop Tobiko Creamy Fettuccine, RM20 (Junior size)

Junior size is not enough for us as this creamy fettuccine had us wanting more.
