Pastry Pairing with Wine Class at Pastry Institute of St. Honore

If you love all things relating to pastries and wine, you would be ecstatic to know that the Pastry Institute of St. Honoré (PISH) will be conducting a pastry and wine-pairing course at the institute in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail on July 14, Friday.

The course will be held in conjunction with the French national day or better known as Bastille Day.

The instructors

During the 3-hour course, you will be guided by Chef Frederic Oger, the Master Pastry Chef of PISH and Master Sommelier Edouard Oger, a Wine and spirit consultant for the Court of Master Sommeliers “Europe”, where the two will share their expertise and knowledge in the field.

Things you will learn:

  • The art of plating
  • Learning about the combination of flavours and textures of food featuring

You will be tasting:

  • Passion Fruit Tartlet with Coconut Meringue
  • Orange Chocolate Entrement
  • Mini Ciabatta with Poach Pear
