Hang Your Wreath With A Hanger
Treat wreaths just like your favourite dress. Slip the hoop over the neck of the hanger, then cover with a plastic dry cleaning bag to prevent a year’s worth of dust building up. Hang in your closet or store room.
Wrap Lights Around Cardboard
Wrap your lights around pieces of disposable cardboards befor eputting them in storage. Plus you can write reminders on the cardboard like “use this for the porch” or “this half of the strand is not working” to keep you organised till next year.
Use Clear, Resealable Bags
If you want to keep all your baubles in one storage, but sorted by colour and size, use clear resealable bags like these ones you can get from Ikea. Then next year, it’ll be super easy to assess your stash and if you need to stock up on any particular colours.
Don’t Let Your Ornaments Get Crush
Use leftover plastic cups from your holiday parties to keep your ornaments safe while in storage. Then stack them in a large clear bin.
