Spark creativity and inspiration with technology at KidZania Kuala Lumpur

By The Weekly | June 16, 2017

We can’t deny that technology has made the modern world go round and it will play an even bigger role in the future – a future that the current generation must be well-equipped to face. To inspire greater interest in technology, bring your kids over to KidZania Kuala Lumpur for its KidZ & Tech 2.0: The Future Rebooted with partners VR Lab, U Mobile, Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur and Canon Marketing (Malaysia).

The daily interactive workshops and hands-on activities includes:

  • Virtual Reality with VR Lab: Using specially-designed goggles, kids get to completely immerse themselves in a computer-generated, 3-dimensional 360-degree environment and with the help of an advanced control system, they get to touch and interact with items in this environment as though they are real.
  • 360-degree Photo-Taking with U Mobile: Get creative with a smartphone – just remain in a single standing position and turn a full 360-degrees circle to take a great photo, which will be shared on the KidZania Kuala Lumpur Facebook page! Choose from Street View, Surround Shot or use the Photo Sphere mode.
  • Augmented Reality Colouring: Bridge the gap between static pages and animated characters – kids can watch their colouring sheet come alive beyond the page with a smartphone/tablet app.
  • Coding: Let them build their own Star Wars galaxy with code and design their own game, such as programming BB-8 to collect scrap metal using blocks or Javascript…all in the span of 30 minutes.

KidZ & Tech 2.0: The Future Rebooted runs until June 24, 2017. For more information, please visit www.kidzania.com.my.
