OMG Celeb Wax Figures: They’re So Bad, They’re Good

The likeness is so uncanny that you won't be able to hold in your laughter!

By The Weekly | February 27, 2018

When you think of wax figures, Madame Tussauds comes to mind. But there’s actually a number of less-known smaller museums around the world who try their best but just aren’t quite on the same level. From an unrecognisable Prince William to a misshapen Jennifer Garner, you might have to take a second look to recognise who these dodgy replicas are meant to be:

beyonce

1.Beyoncé
Someone who has never seen Beyoncé before clearly made this figure. Clearly. But luckily, she’s probably too busy with the newly debuted twins to notice, thankfully…

2. Bill Clinton
Whoever made this Bill Clinton figure needs to step away from the wax. But perhaps more pressing is why faux Bill has a cat on his shoulder.

3. Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth doesn’t look convinced with his wax Thor replica. Is it the tiny head or platinum blonde Barbie wig that’s putting you off, buddy?

4. Emma Watson
We can’t put our finger on it, but there’s just something not quite right about this Emma Watson wax figure.

5. Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston seems to be having severe ankle problems, although we can’t get over her unusually thin head.

6. Jennifer Garner
Jennifer Garner’s head looks as though it has been accidentally attached to a bodybuilder’s figure.

7. Jennifer Lopez
Help! Jennifer Lopez’s head has been deflated.

Julia Roberts looking like a not-so-pretty woman now.

9. Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber looks like the Ken-doll version of himself in this glossy plastic creation.

10. Katy Perry
Katy Perry is close (not really), but a blue wig doesn’t fix the problems here.

kim-kardashian

11. Kim Kardashian
Faux Kim Kardashian seems like the real thing, until you realise it actually has the face of her sister, Kendall Jenner.

micheal-jackson

12. Michael Jackson
The King of Pop has had a severe injustice done to him. Thank goodness they got the costume mostly right.

nicole-kidman

13. Nicole Kidman
If she wasn’t labelled, we’d have no idea this was meant to be Nicole Kidman.

prince-william

14. Prince William
Prince William loves to suit up and if you squint real hard and tilt your head to the left, this wax replica mostly passes for the royal.

cristiano-ronaldo-bust

15. Cristiano Ronaldo
This technically isn’t a wax figure (more a downright monstrosity) but we had to include this statue of Cristiano Ronaldo. The soccer star returned to his home of Madeira, Portugal, where they’re renaming an airport after him. They also unveiled this statue. Uncanny, right?!

kylie-minogue-wax-figure

16. Kylie Minogue
Kylie Minogue, is that you? Kylie looks like a cross between herself and Nicole Kidman (with a touch of Delta Goodrem for, err, confusing measure). This isn’t the first time the pint-sized pop star has been botched in wax… poor Kylie, herhead must be spinning around.

donald-trump-wax-figure

17. Donald Trump
It’s not technically a wax figure, but this Trump animatronic sitting in Disneyland’s Hall of Presidents is a little off on the likeness front. For one, it’s not nearly as orange enough as the real thing!

meryl-streep-wax-figure

18. Meryl Streep
Poor Meryl. It’s not enough that she has President Trump calling her an “overrated” and Chanel boss Karl Lagerfeld deeming her “cheap”, now it seems the artists over at Madame Tussaud’s in Hollywood may have a bone to pick with her because there’s something just not quite right about her recently revamped wax figure.
