L’Oréal Paris is devoting the entire month of March to celebrate inspiring women in its Women of Worth (WOW) campaign, which aims to create awareness among Malaysian women on their self-worth and self-confidence.
You, too, can participate in this campaign by honouring a Woman of Worth in your own life. Just snap a picture of yourself and your Woman of Worth (mum, sister, friend, aunt, grandma, etc) and share your stories on L’Oréal Paris Malaysia’s Facebook page (Facebook.com/lorealparismalaysia) or Instagram (Instagram.com/lorealparismy) and hashtag #WOWLOrealParis.
At the event to launch the campaign, three women shared with us what self-confidence means to them.
Nana Mahazan, TV personality and radio presenter
“Confident women know, realise and accept that no two individuals are the same, and that’s what makes each of us unique – and perfect. They take pride in their own set of skills and capabilities.”
Jay Menon, TV personality
“A confident woman knows that if she tries her best and gives something her all, something good is bound to come out of it. She also knows that while having someone behind you for moral support is crucial, she does not need the validation of others.”
Connie Ng, Senior PR Manager for L’Oréal Paris Malaysia
“My confidence comes from my children. Their immeasurable and unconditional love for me makes me want to be a better person and an amazing role model for them to look up to as they grow up. That’s where my confidence is rooted.”
